Located in Tucson, Arizona, CrossFit PowerTrain (CFPT) is dedicated to its athletes reaching their fitness goals. Whether you want to lose weight, finish a marathon, or become a competitive CrossFit athlete, CFPT will take you there. 

 

Coaching

All of our coaches are CrossFit Certified and understand that every athlete has a different goal in mind. Our coaches will adapt every workout to the athlete's needs and will also focus on technique to prevent injury. While we believe that every athlete has great potential, our coaches will ensure that athletes achieve long-term health, first and foremost.

Programming

We offer our regularly scheduled CrossFit classes Monday through Friday, Hopper Saturdays, and open gym on Sundays. Check out our schedule of classes. These classes will follow the programming that is posted online each day (called the Workout of the Day, or WOD). CrossFit PowerTrain coaches strategically program workouts to build a well-balanced athlete. They last about one hour and are led by qualified, experienced coaches.

What is crossfit?

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

MEMBERSHIP RATES

 CrossFit PowerTrain has different membership rates.  All membership rates under contract are UNLIMITED visits to the box.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us for more information.

No Contracts!

 

Regular Membership

$135/month - Regular membership rate.

15% discount for military, first responders, full-time students, and teachers.

Partner Membership

$230/month - This rate is for two people ($115 each) but both members need to sign up a the same time together. A 15% discount off our regular prices.

$70/month - Children between the ages of 6-12 years.

Other Memberships

$150 - 11-class punch card

$75 - 5-class punch card

$45 - Personal training

$20 - Drop-in rate (or buy a t-shirt for $25 and your drop-in is free!)

$10 - Drop-in rate (kids 6-12)

Nutrition and Fitness

At CrossFit PowerTrain, we support the Paleo Diet, also known as the "Caveman Diet".  The success of the Paleo Diet is based on random studies as well as real-life success stories.  The premise is if a caveman ate it, so can you.  This diet restricts eating grains, legumes (beans, including peanuts), dairy, and refined sugars.  This leaves room for grass-fed meats (beef, pork, poultry, and seafood), vegetablesnuts, and fruits.  By eating these foods, the body is efficiently able to digest and process these nutrients into the body.  It is important to consult your health care professional before beginning any diet.  CrossFit PowerTrain will initiate a personal 30-day challenges upon request.  You will be given a guide to Paleo accepted foods, references to Paleo sites, recipes and a start up menu to jump start your weight loss journey.  You will be measured at the beginning, the two-week mark or upon request, measured at the 30-day mark, and will receive our constant support to your health goals.  This is free to our CrossFit PowerTrain members!
